A major traffic accident involving six vehicles Tuesday has forced the shutdown of Loop 1604 West at Bulverde Road, San Antonio police said.

Traffic is being diverted at the O'Connor Road exit, police said.
Motorists are urged to use caution and take an alternate route, if possible.
