BASEBALL: Brackenridge tops McCollum, Brennan battles Laredo Alexander

The Bi-District round of the UIL high school baseball playoffs began Thursday night, and series leads were up for grabs. In Class 5A, Brackenridge defeated McCollum 6-3 thanks to a pair of three-run innings, and Brennan rallied to force extra innings against Laredo Alexander but came up short 11-5.
