DROUGHT MONITOR: Drought keeps tightening its grip
ANY RELIEF?: Potentially, but not until late next week
FORECAST
HOT, HUMID STRETCH AHEAD
Usually November starts the trend of cold fronts parading through South Texas. Not in 2025. We will be cold front-free through at least the middle of next week. That means heat and humidity will build, leaving us with a very un-November-like forecast.

DROUGHT CONDITIONS WORSEN
The latest drought monitor confirms that extreme drought is now covering a large section of the region, including the city itself. The situation has steadily gotten worse, and for now, there are no signs of relief.

ANY RELIEF?
There may be a slight change on the horizon, but we’ll have to wait until late next week. At that point, we’re cautiously optimistic for a slight chance for showers or storms. However, the forecast rain chance remains low, and exact rainfall amounts or impacts are still unclear. Check back for updates!
