SAPD officers to wear pink patches in October for breast cancer awareness

SAN ANTONIO – Some San Antonio police officers will be wearing pink patches on their uniforms in October.

SAPD Chief William McManus has authorized officers to modify their uniform with pink patches and/or a pink undershirt in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The police department will raise money for the Susan G. Komen organization from officer participation and officer donations.
