SAN ANTONIO – Check your pantry for Bush's Best baked beans. Bush Brothers & Co. announced a recall of certain 28-ounce cans of Bush’s Brown Sugar Hickory Baked Beans, Country Style Baked Beans and Original Baked Beans because of potentially defective side seams on cans.
Bush’s said the problem has been corrected, no other products are affected and that no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall. The company urges consumers to throw out the product even if it does not appear or smell spoiled.
The products affected are:
- 28-ounce Bush’s Best Brown Sugar Hickory with case UPC of 003940001977 0 and lot codes 6097S GF and 6097P GF,
- 28-ounce Bush’s Best Country Style with case UPC of 0 39400 01974 9 and lot codes 6077S RR, 6077P RR, 6087S RR and 6087P RR
- 29-ounce Bush’s Best Original with case UPC of 0 39400 01614 4 and lot codes 6057S LC and 6057P LC.
All the recalled cans have a “best by” date of June 2019. For questions about the recall, Bush’s Consumer Relations will be available at 1-800-590-3797 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
More hoverboards are being recalled because the battery packs may catch fire or explode.
iRover announced a recall of 2,800 self-balancing scooters, models 87645 and 87644.
They were sold at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls stores nationwide from December 2015 through December 2016.

Manhattan Toy Company is recalling more than 14,000 Winkel Colorburst teething and activity toys. The colored plastic tubing can become brittle and break, creating a choking danger.
The recalled lot codes are 206880 DH, 206880 EH, 206880 HH, 206871 EH.
They were sold in toy stores and online from May 2015 through September 2016 for about $15.
Parents can return the toy to the store for a refund. For more information click here.
More than 9,000 Lamaze Munching Max chipmunk stuffed toys have been recalled by TOMY International.
Parts inside can break, creating a sharp point that can penetrate the surface of the toy and injure a child. They were sold since May 2016.
