SAN ANTONIO – It was a night for Spurs’ Dejounte Murray to remember.
After Thursday’s Spurs win against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the point guard reminisced on social media about meeting Snoop Dogg after his Wednesday show at the Tobin Center.
Murray posted photos of himself with the rapper, saying it was a “blessing” to spend time with him both on- and offstage.
“Man I got to meet my fav original gangsta,” Murray wrote on Twitter. “Thank God for these blessings.”

Murray, who attended the show with Tony Parker, gave the rapper a jersey for the occasion. He also made a quick appearance at the DJ booth onstage.
“Young gun,” Snoop Dogg wrote in an Instagram post of him, Murray and the No. 5 jersey. Murray posted that Snoop Dogg has been a fan of his basketball career.
Parker also gave Snoop Dogg two jerseys from the Spurs and France’s national basketball team.
Parker wrote in his Instagram Stories, which have since expired, that it was a “hell of a night.”
The Big Three legend attended the Dj Snoopadelic show ahead of the city’s Tony Parker Day on Saturday and his jersey retirement on Monday.
