New bar & grill showcases hearty food, vibrant environment, live music

Flavor Favs: Whiskey Tree

SAN ANTONIO – With plenty of space to accommodate all Whiskey Tree is a unique spot on the Northwest Side that caters to all types of customers.

Located at 7905 Bandera Road, Whiskey Tree opened their doors a few months ago and already has positive reviews.

"When new people walk up the stairs, they look around, and their face is, like, 'oh, wow,' this is much more than I expected," manager Michael Teran said.

The layout of the place is one of a kind with two large patios.

The front patio is laid out around an old oak tree, and the back patio is setup to support full bands and up to 300 people.

As far as the food, it is not average bar food.

"We have some hearty entrees like chicken-fried steak, meatloaf," Teran said. "All the sauces for our wings are made from scratch."

Whether you stop by to hear live music or to enjoy some food, Whiskey Tree is really a place for all.
