Cibolo Santa spreads holiday cheer to children on Fritz Way

Kevin Raynor battles Parkinson's disease

CIBOLO, Texas – A Santa in Cibolo is helping spread Christmas cheer this holiday season.

Children in the neighborhood can find him in his front yard on Fritz Way. His home is decked out with decorations, which his neighbors helped him put up.

For two years, Kevin Raynor has been giving out presents and candy to children who visit him.

Raynor has Parkinson’s disease, but he said that doesn’t take away his ability to spread joy. His favorite part of playing Santa is hearing children's stories.

“I had two twins the other day. One of them said she wants money. And I said, ‘Of course.’ She said, ‘No, Santa, you don't understand. I want money to give to the poor,’” Raynor said.

Raynor said more than 90 children have visited him so far this year. He’ll be in his front yard from 6-9 p.m. through Saturday.
