Former SA TV Anchor Sentenced In Drug Case Karen Gallagher Pleads No Contest
SAN ANTONIO – Former San Antonio television anchorwoman Karen Gallagher was sentenced to two years deferred adjudication and fined $2,000 after pleading no contest to two counts of obtaining drugs by theft.
Investigators said Gallagher tried to fill a prescription for a pain killers after taking it from the home of another woman.
She was sentenced by 187th District Court Judge Raymond Angelini as part of a plea bargain. Deferred adjudication is a form of probation.
