BexarMet officially becomes part of SAWS
No description foundSAN ANTONIO – The Justice Department has cleared the way for the Bexar Metropolitan Water District to become a part of the San Antonio Water System.
The DOJ approved the results of the November election where voters overwhelmingly supported the dissolution of the controversial water utility.
SAWS will hold a transition ceremony to physically change out the BexarMet signage and authorize the documents.
Former BexarMet customers can expect to see one bill from SAWS for both water and sewer in about six months.
