Investigators say Adkins then fled on foot into a nearby drainage ditch and changed her clothes.

Surveillance cameras captured Adkins walking out of the wooded drainage ditch in what police said was a very colorful dress.

Officers managed to track her down a short time later partially because of how distinctive the dress was, police said.

The dress and the original clothes used during the robbery were recovered will be used as evidence, investigators said.

Adkins gave a full confession to officers during questioning, and was later charged with aggravated robbery, police said.
