Closet systems can help organization

Consumer Reports finds Ikea system 'maddening'

Just in time for spring cleaning, Consumer Reports checked out five closet organizers.

Testers found the $170 Algot system from  Ikea maddening.  It took the engineers nearly three hours to build because the measurements in the instructions were off and it didn't come with all 39 screws needed.

Consumer Reports recommended people save their sanity and splurge on the  $475 Elfa Platinum Reach system sold at Container Store.

If that's too pricey, they also suggested the  Rubbermaid Homefree system from Lowe's for $156. It didn't look at professional as the Elfa, but did help organize a mess.
