Family of woman killed in double shooting says ex-boyfriend to blame

Suspect shoots, kills couple; Injures child

SAN ANTONIO – The family members of a woman killed in a fatal double shooting Sunday on the West Side say her ex-boyfriend pulled the trigger.

Evidence markers were scattered throughout the street. Caution tape kept friends and family at a distance as police investigators combed the crime scene.

Police have not identified the victims, but Lorrina Robinson said it was her 34-year-old sister, Darlene Robinson, and Robinson's boyfriend.

Family members and witnesses also identified the shooter as an ex-boyfriend of Robinson.

"He had got her in a headlock and shot her in the chest, and then a couple more times in the face. And he shot Nado (Darlene Robinson's current boyfriend), and then I guess that's when he shot the dog," said Lorrina Robinson, Darlene Robinson's sister.

Lorrina Robinson said the gunmen also took aim at her two nieces.

"He also tried shooting my niece, who's 7 years old, Gigi, and a bullet had grazed her finger and glass hit her in the ear. My other niece, Yesenia, who is only 15, had to beg for her life so he wouldn't shoot her," Lorrina Robinson said.

The suspect remains on the run and according to police, he was last seen in a dark-colored sedan.

"I'm still in fear. I don't know if he's going to come back after her sons or after the daughters because he didn't accomplish the job," said Lorrina Robinson.

She had a message for her sister's killer.

"You'll get what you deserve, not by this world, but by God," she said.
