SAN ANTONIO – Calling all Spurs fans:
The San Antonio Spurs are hosting a block party in Travis Park and you're invited.

The free event will start at 6 p.m. Friday, rain or shine, after the regular season is over and before the playoffs begin this weekend. It will end at 9 p.m.
The Spurs promise fun for the whole family with live entertainment from the Silver Dancers, Team Energy, DJ Quake and, of course, the Spurs Coyote. There will also be balloon artists, a photo booth, food trucks, vendors and an array of prize giveaways.
Among the items being given away is perhaps the most sought after prize: a pair of Spurs playoff tickets. Two tickets will be awarded to the "best dressed" fan, decked out in his or her silver and black finest.
The Spurs have clinched their 18th consecutive postseason appearance in their 16th straight season with 50 or more wins. The first round playoff schedule with exact dates, times and opponent will be announced at a later date.
