San Antonio police said Aldava was thrown out of the Brooks Pub in the 3300 block of Lasses Boulevard for reportedly instigating fights with other patrons.
Aldava left the bar, but returned in a car a short time later and was shot by a suspect who pulled up in a vehicle next to him and opened fire, police said.
Aldava was shot once in the back and died at San Antonio Military Medical Center.
