BCSO deputies arrest SA man wanted since July

Paul Brown, 25, featured on KSAT-12 Crime Fighters Takedown Day

SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a fugitive featured on KSAT-12 in August.

Paul Brown, 25, was wanted for violating the sex offender registry. A warrant was issued for his arrest in July.

San Antonio police said Brown was convicted of sexual assault of a child. He is a registered sex offender, but they said he did not report to the San Antonio Police Department as required.

Brown was one of more than two dozen featured on KSAT-12's Crime Fighters Takedown Day in August.

Friday, Deputy Chief Tammy Burr said BCSO's Fugitive Apprehension Unit received a tip to Brown's whereabouts on Wurzbach Road.

Brown was booked at the Bexar County Jail on charges of violating the sex offender registry and assault causing bodily injury.
