SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio is about to go from five driver license offices to four. The Texas Department of Public Safety office on Babcock Road will close permanently on Friday.
Individuals who have driving tests scheduled at the Babcock Road office will take those tests at the Leon Valley Mega Center. That facility is located at 7410 Huebner Road, which is about five miles away from the Babcock Road office.

The Texas Department of Public Safety also wants to remind people that many services can be conducted online at Texas.gov, including driver license/ID card renewals, duplicates or address changes.
