Woman found stabbed to death on North Side

Body discovered partially covered on Isom Road

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet identified a woman whose body was found stabbed to death on the city's North Side Wednesday afternoon.

The victim's body was found partially covered in the 700 block of Isom Road around 2 p.m.

The woman's body was discovered by some men who were walking by and noticed what appeared to be a body that was covered with something.

"It appears to be a sheet covered over her," San Antonio police Sgt. John Kellogg said. "We don't know how the sheet got there. That's what we had when got here, couldn't see most of the body."

When the sheet was removed, investigators discovered the woman had been stabbed several times.

The woman's body was found in some bushes to the left of a business near an apartment complex.

An investigator said they hope to learn more when they perform an autopsy Thursday.
