Wimberley man arrested for shooting, killing his father, sheriff officials say

WIMBERLEY, Texas – An argument between a father and son Tuesday night in Wimberley ended in a fatal shooting, Hays County Sheriff's Officials said.

Deputies arrived at a home on Brookmeadow Drive about 11:30 p.m. and found Steve Krueger, 60, with a gunshot wound. Krueger died at the scene.

Jacob Christopher Krueger, 29, was found by deputies sitting in a chair with a shotgun in his hand, officials said.

He was taken into custody on a murder charge.
