Victim shot, killed by burglar identified Coleman Brady, 26, fatally wounded early Monday in 800 block of Canton Street No description found
SAN ANTONIO – The name of a 26-year-old man who was shot and killed by a burglar was released Tuesday by the San Antonio Police Department.
Coleman Brady, 26, was fatally wounded early Monday in the 800 block of Canton Street on the city's East Side.
Police said Brady and a woman arrived home from a bike ride around 2:40 a.m. and tried to stop a man from entering their home.
The burglar opened fire on the couple, police said.
Brady died at San Antonio Military Medical Center. The woman was last listed in critical condition at SAMCC.
The burglar remains on the loose.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP (7867). A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
