SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department is searching for the person responsible for shooting several times at its headquarters Saturday around 9:52 p.m.

Police said bullets struck the building, causing damage, but no one was injured.

Witnesses reported the gunman as a man wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans. They said he left the area toward Urban Loop and Cesar Chavez from the intersection of South Santa Rosa and Graham.

Several nearby streets were shut down Saturday night as police investigated.

The shooting came just two days after a gunman ambushed Dallas police officers, killing five and wounding several more.
