SAN ANTONIO – The Witte Museum unveiled the name of its newly renovated and expanded main building Wednesday.
The new Susan Naylor Center is set to open next month.
The museum said Naylor is its most prolific private benefactor. Her gifts led to the construction of many museum additions, including the Will Smith Ampitheater, the Will Smith Classroom and the Naylor Family Dinosaur Gallery.
The $100-million new Witte project includes a facility expansion on the campus, as well as an additional 100,000 square feet in renovations.
Doors open to the public March 4.
