SA man convicted of raping 14-year-old girl accused of violating sex offender terms

David Frank Rodriguez, 33, wanted for absconding from supervision

SAN ANTONIO – A convicted sex offender sentenced to 10 years probation for the rape of a 14-year-old girl is wanted for new charges for skipping out on court-ordered supervision.

David Frank Rodriguez, 33, is accused of violating conditions of sex offender registration conditions.

Rodriguez was sentenced to probation in Dec. 2009 after he was found guilty of sexual assault of a child. He was required to register as a sex offender annually for life. The state's sex offender registry shows he last reported to the San Antonio Police Department in July 2012.

"A warrant was issued for Rodriguez's arrest, following an indictment filed with the Bexar County District Court. The indictment alleged that Rodriguez failed to comply with sex offender registration conditions and absconded from supervision," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Bozeman.

Rodriguez is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"His last known place of registry was here in San Antonio," Bozeman said.

If you have any information on Rodriguez's whereabouts, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
