Man trimming trees attacked by bees

SAN ANTONIO – A man hired to trim trees was stung several dozen times by a swarm of bees Friday north of downtown.

Terrell Hills police said the man was cutting down tree limbs at a home on Lilac Lane when he was attacked.

The man jumped into a swimming pool until help arrive.

He was taken to a hospital in an undetermined condition.

A beekeeper was called in to remove the bees but he had trouble finding them, police said.
