BOERNE, TexasUPDATE: A man accused of stealing cash from a Chili's restaurant and leading police officers on a vehicle chase has been arrested in Comal County, the Boerne Police Department said.

Boerne police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who led authorities from Boerne into San Antonio and was able to get away after a robbery.

Police said it started Wednesday when Samuel McDonald, 39, allegedly robbed a Chili's restaurant. His vehicle was spotted on I-10 near Fair Oaks Parkway, and Fair Oaks Ranch police pursued him into San Antonio.

McDonald ended up crashing into another vehicle and came to a stop near UTSA Boulevard. Boerne police said he got out of the vehicle, ran into a wooded area and escaped.

McDonald remained at large Thursday night. He is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He currently has warrants out for his arrest in Kendall County and Bexar County.
