MESQUITE, Texas – Police are looking for two dog nappers who stole a 10-week-old French mastiff puppy from the owner’s front yard in Mesquite.

Two Hispanic males were caught on video Saturday around 2:20 p.m. pulling up to the house in the 5100 block of Milam Road, according to a press release.

One of the men grabbed the puppy over the owner’s fence and then took off in a black Cadillac SUV/Crossover.

Thankfully, the theft was caught on the owner’s home security cameras.

These are the thieves that stole my 10 week old Dogue de Bordeaux yesterday. UPDATE 10/9/19... Chipper was returned 4 days after being stolen and is doing wonderful. One of the thieves was caught trying to get into Mexico about a month after the incident. He had a long rap sheet, bonded out immediately. I'd bet they are both in Mexico. At least they have felony warrants now.
