SEGUIN, Texas – Two people have been arrested and one remains at large in connection with a fatal shooting in Seguin.

According to the Seguin Police Department, Sahra Vega and Christanio Soto, both 21 years of age and Seguin residents, were arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop.

Police identified the two suspects as occupants in a vehicle that the accused gunman opened fire from in the 600 block of N Vaughan Ave (Park West). Maekalyn Ann Marie Smith, 18, of Seguin and an unidentified 18-year-old Seguin man were killed by the gunfire.

Seguin PD and multiple law enforcement agencies are looking for the accused gunman, Draven Rene Reyes, 20, of Seguin, who is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Reyes is asked to call the Seguin Police Department at 911 or 830-379-2123. Callers can also contact the Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers at 877-403-8477 (TIPS). Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of Reyes.

Vega and Soto are charged with murder and aggravated assault and are being held on $1 million bond.
