San Antonio woman found alive in vehicle after missing for 3 days

BEXAR COUNTY, TexasUPDATE on 11/13/2025: A woman missing for three days was found alive in her vehicle on Thursday, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

Anita Gould, 56, was found in the 14600 block of Potranco Road, BCSO said.

Deputies believe that Gould had suffered a medical episode. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.


ORIGINAL STORY: Friends and family are searching for a woman who was last seen in San Antonio on Monday morning.

Anita Gould, 56, was scheduled to fly to Atlanta, Georgia, on Nov. 10, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. She was last seen between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. that day.

Gould was last seen wearing a black shirt, a pink jacket and multicolored pants. BCSO said she was driving a black 2019 Buick Enclave with the license plate NUMEDV.

“We are asking the public to please assist us in locating our friend and sister, LTC (R) Anita Elizabeth Gould,” said Gould’s friend, Mechelle Taylor, who drove down from Dallas to help find her. “Anita, if you are listening, know that we love you and want you safe.”

Gould is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall with brown eyes and black hair.
