SAN ANTONIO – A longtime Republican judge has filed to run against Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff in the 2018 election.

Bexar County Probate Court Judge Tom Rickhoff will be seeking the GOP nomination in the county judge race.
Rickhoff was appointed to the court in 2001 and has held the position since.
Wolff has been judge since 2001 and said this election would likely be his last. He has served in the Texas House of Representatives, Texas Senate. He was also mayor from 1991-1995.
Rickhoff and Wolff are the only two candidates to file for the seat.
The primary election will be held on March 6.
