Report: Selena Quintanilla's brother A.B. owes more than $87K in back child support

Quintanilla has active arrest warrant in Nueces County

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – New details have been released about the back child support owed by Selena’s brother, Abraham Quintanilla III.

Quintanilla, also known as “A.B,” is on the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office’s recent Top 10 Most Wanted List.

The sheriff’s department says Quintanilla, 53, has an active arrest warrant for contempt of court and nonpayment of child support.

KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi reported that as of last month, Quintanilla owed more than $87,000 in child support. 

The case goes back to 2012 and involves one of his children. 

According to KRIS-TV, the Texas Attorney General’s Office reported the last amount paid by Quintanilla was $16.84 in September 2015.

Quintanilla’s attorneys have not commented on the case and he has not turned himself in as of Wednesday.

Quintanilla is a former member of Selena y Los Dinos who went on to start Los Kumbia Kings and then the group, Elektro Kumbia.
