Suspect, witnesses sought in December 2009 murder

Fatal shooting of Paul DeLeon, 17, occurred at Fair Ave, S. New Braunfels Ave

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person or persons responsible for a murder.

The fatal shooting occurred on Dec. 19, 2009 around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Fair Avenue and South New Braunfels Avenue.

According to police, a white Nissan Frontier pickup truck was at an intersection when the vehicle Paul DeLeon, 17, was riding in pulled up alongside it. That's when, police said, an individual from inside the Nissan pointed a gun and fired one shot, killing him.

Police have released a sketch of the suspected shooter (seen above).

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
