Thousands in counterfeit cash, methamphetamine found in room at Budget Suites Police looking for woman who rented room No description found
SAN ANTONIO – Staff at a northwest side Budget Suites uncovered thousands of dollars in counterfeit cash, methamphetamine and distribution packaging after a woman failed to check out Sunday afternoon.
Employees at the extended-stay hotel in the 7800 block of Fredricksburg went into the room after the woman renting the room didn't check out at noon. Staff called police after discovering the items and locked up the room until police arrived.
Police said they found small quantities of methamphetamine and a lot of packages to distribute the drug. Police also said they found several thousands in counterfeit cash.
Authorities don't have a suspect in custody but are looking for the woman who rented the room.
