VIDEO: Father, son drive through raging forest fire to escape park

GLACIER NATIONAL PARK – Dramatic video shows a father and son who were caught in the middle of a raging forest fire at Glacier National Park but thankfully they’re both alive.

The two men were rescued from the fire by boat when they managed to flag down park rangers after abandoning their car due to a downed tree.

The Howe Ridge Fire was started by lightning and has burned more than 4,000 acres, according to the National Park Service.

Justin Bilton was driving with his 70-year-old father, according to ABC News, and can be heard expressing concern in the video.

But Bilton's ever-faithful father was there to help calm his son — “Just go easy now,” he can be heard saying.
