You may be wondering what does Public Health week exactly entail?

Metro Health is a local public health department covering the city of San Antonio and Bexar County.

Everything you need to know about Metro Health:

 "Public health promotes, prevents and protects the health of people and the communities where they live, learn, work and play," said Colleen Bridger, Metro Health director.

 

How long has Metro Health been established? 

Metro Health is even hosting a tricentennial event Tuesday, April 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Library.

"Our goal is to keep you safe and healthy," Bridger said.
