'How serious is Kawhi's injury?' Spurs fans weigh in on his unexplained limp

Video of Leonard cautiously walking up plane's stairs sparks concern

SAN ANTONIO – Video of the San Antonio Spurs arriving at the airport getting ready to travel to Chicago to face the Bulls was captured by KSAT video and quickly went viral.

The video of the Spurs' departure wasn’t the focal point for the Spurs and NBA fans alike, but instead turned to an injured Kawhi Leonard cautiously walking the plane’s stairs, taking his time to board the team’s plane.

On Sept. 30, the Spurs announced that the star forward “continues a rehabilitation program for right quadriceps tendinopathy” and that a “timetable for his return to the court will be determined at a later date.”

After sharing the video, reports surfaced that Leonard underwent a rehab session before arriving at the airport and reason for the Spurs superstar seen dragging his injured right leg behind.

With Spurs fans left wondering how serious Leonard’s is, KSAT’s RJ Marquez caught up with them ahead of Tuesday’s home game against the Toronto Raptors to ask just that.
