The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country announced its next steps weeks after severe flooding ravaged the area for the second July in a row.

The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has launched a new regional relief fund across 10 counties in response to this week’s widespread flooding.

The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country has spent $82 million on overall recovery since July 4, 2025. Forty-three percent of that total has been spent getting flood survivors into temporary and, eventually, permanent housing.

Last week, the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country announced $40 million of its donations would be going toward housing for the people whose homes were affected during the floods. Now, KSAT is finding out how that's being distributed.
