A traffic safety nonprofit has renewed its calls for improvements at the Chicago intersection where an actor from the movie “School of Rock” was struck by a car and killed while cycling.

Kevin Clark, who played drummer Freddy “Spazzy McGee” Jones in the 2003 movie “School of Rock” starring Jack Black, was killed when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle along a Chicago street.

During the exchange of fire, 16-year-old Miranda Martinez was hit with a .40 caliber bullet fired from Clarks Glock pistol. BCSO said Clark now faces a murder charge, a charge for unlawful carry of a weapon and a charge for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
