HHSC spokesperson Christine Mann said Wilsons job at the health agency remains temporary, and said he chose not to accept a salary or benefits for the position. River Authority spokesperson Clara Tuma said Wilsons in touch daily with the organizations leadership. The river authority and health commission have no overlapping business or operations, she said.
