Violence in the classroom is not only injuring teachers and support staff. Educators tell KSAT Investigates it’s disrupting learning and making it difficult to retain and recruit help.

Nearly 70% of the 6,000 Texas educators surveyed by the Texas American Federation of Teachers union say they are ready to quit their jobs.

The survey, conducted by Texas American Federation of Teachers, comes two weeks after the Uvalde school shooting as Republicans call for more school employees to be armed.
