SAN ANTONIO – United Pet Group issued a recall for various brands of rawhide dog chews because they may be contaminated with chemicals.
The recall includes American Beefhide and Digest-eeze, Healthy Hide (including Good'n'Fun and Good'n' Fit) chews.
The company has received reports of some dogs getting sick and customers detecting a foul smell from the products.
The products have an expiration date between June 1, 2019, and May 31, 2020.
Consumers are urged to return or discard the products.

American Beefhide: Only products with lot codes listed on the back of the package that start with AH and that list expiration dates from 06/01/2019 through 05/31/2020 are affected by this recall. This includes all package sizes and/or weights. The following contact information appears on the back of the package of the affected products: Salix Animal Health, LLC Deerfield Beach, FL 33442.
Digest-eeze: Only products with lot codes listed on the back of the package that start with AH, AV, A, AI, AO, or AB and that list expiration dates from 06/01/2019 through 05/31/2020 are affected by this recall. This includes all package sizes and/or weights.

The recall involves Kobalt and Greenworks brands. They were sold at Lowe's and other retailers.

Thousands of children's robes are recalled because they fail to meet federal flammability standards.
Kreative Kids is recalling eight styles of 100 percent polyester robes. The hoods depict a purple elephant, lion, pink bear, ladybug, blue puppy, duck, monkey or princess cat.
They were sold online and at specialty stores in a few states including Texas.
Consumers can contact Kreative Kids at 800-786-2919 for a refund.
