SAN ANTONIO – As the fall season begins the amount of events around the city increases.

There's about a dozen things going on around San Antonio Friday through Sunday.

Here's a list of 12 events taking place:

Oktoberfest: All weekend long you can celebrate everything German at Alamo Beer. There is a full schedule of events including beer pairing dinners. Admission is free but you need a ticket for the dinners.

Star Wars A New Hope in Concert: From Friday through Sunday the San Antonio Symphony will play along with the movie at the Tobin Center. There are three shows and tickets still available for each. 

Wicked: The popular Broadway musical returns to San Antonio and will be at the Majestic Theatre until Oct. 14. Tickets are still available. 

Cannon Fest: This event will include artillery displays and living history demonstrations on the Alamo grounds. This will begin on Saturday and continue into Monday with an announcement about restoration efforts. All ages are welcome. 

Good Vibrations Music & Arts Festival: This festival is for a cause as proceeds benefit Aid the Silent. The festival will be at Sunken Garden this year and will feature numerous musical acts, including KSAT 12 Meteorologist Sarah Spivey. General admission tickets are $45. 

Ignite the Night Tower Lighting: The Tower of the Americas will go pink for breast cancer awareness on Saturday evening. There will be a reception at the base of the tower starting at 7 p.m.

Ballet Folklorico of Mexico: For over six decades this dance group from Mexico has been performing around the world. You can see the show at the Lila Cockrell Theatre from Friday through Sunday. Tickets are still available. 

UTSA Vs. UTEP: The Roadrunners are looking for another win as they face the Miners Saturday at the Alamodome. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.

Liquor, Beer & Wine Fest: This is the world's largest event of its kind and it will take place Saturday at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall. There will be tastings from more than 500 spirits from around the world. The all-inclusive tickets start at $50. 

Siclovia: San Antonio's largest free community event takes place Sunday. The route will be along Broadway Street, and it starts at 11 a.m. Participants can enjoy walking, biking and other activities.

8th Annual Parktoberfest: After Siclovia ends this event starts at Brackenridge Park. Admission is free and there will be plenty of German beer and food. 

Spurs Vs. Miami Heat: The Silver and Black are back in action as they kick off the preseason on Sunday. Tipoff is at 4 p.m. at the AT&T Center. Tickets are still available.
