French bakers break world record for longest baguette

Baguette measured 461 feet

SURESNES, France – Break me off a piece of that baguette!

French bakers in the suburb of Suresnes have set a new world record for the longest baguette, clocking in at 461 feet, according to an X post.

The team of 18 bakers began their work at 3 a.m. Sunday, using a mobile oven designed for the baguette challenge.

The giant bread loaf was sampled by those in attendance and also given to the homeless community, according to Storyful.

The previous world record holder had a 435-foot baguette in Como, Italy, in 2019.
