No description foundSAN ANTONIO – A local lawyer is accused of trying to bring a gun into the Bexar County Courthouse but he claims it was all a mistake.
Authorities say Attorney Jason Galvan was going through a security checkpoint at the Bexar County Courthouse on Thursday morning.
The gun was reportedly detected in his briefcase by the X-ray machine.
Galvan says he forgot the gun was in his briefcase, and that the whole situation was a mistake.
After a hearing, Galvan was released on $5,000 bond for a charge of having a weapon in a prohibited area.
No word on whether Galvan has a concealed handgun license.
