San Antonio police: Anthony Harris knocked victim to ground, stole car

Anthony Harris was arrested Thursday for aggravated robbery.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police arrested a man they say attacked a 67-year-old woman Tuesday outside the CVS Pharmacy on the 5500 block of Walzem Road. 

Police say 20-year-old Anthony Harris approached the victim outside the store, punched her and stole her car and purse.

The woman was knocked to the ground and hit her head on the concrete. She was taken to University Hospital with a fractured skull.

Police arrested Harris around 8 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex on Midcrown.

A second man was with Harris when the attack happened. He was arrested on Tuesday.

Both of the suspects will be charged with aggravated robbery.
