Ross Ochoa, 21, accused of sexually assaulting girl

Girl told police she met Ross Ochoa, 21, at neighborhood park

SAN ANTONIO – South Side resident Ross Ochoa, 21, is facing a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child in a case involving a 13-year-old girl who he met at a neighborhood park last month.

The arrest warrant affidavit stated that the girl made an outcry to her mother last Thursday, saying that she was afraid about what had happened during several encounters with Ochoa.

The affidavit stated that the teen later talked to investigators, telling them that she initially met Ochoa at park on Southcross Avenue in September.

The girl said she then ran into Ochoa in the same area on a few more occasions. During one encounter on Oct. 18, she said Ochoa took her into an alley, kissed her and performed a sex act on her, the affidavit stated.

On at least two more occasions, she said, Ochoa engaged in sexual intercourse with her, the affidavit stated.

The teen said she became fearful and decided to tell her mother. The affidavit stated that Ochoa had already given the girl his name and showed her where he lived, so police were able to quickly identify him. Police arrested Ochoa Monday.
