Police: Man finds child porn on roommate's computer

Patrick Felux, 27, accused of possessing child pornography

SAN ANTONIO – A Live Oak man has been arrested after his roommate called police saying he found child pornography on the 27-year-old's home computer.

Patrick Felux was taken into custody Monday morning as the result of a nine month long investigation.

An arrest warrant affidavit stated Live Oak police said the roommate contacted them on Nov. 16, saying he had found images on Felux's desktop computer showing boys and girls, ages 10 to 16, engaging in sex acts.

Police said the roommate made the discovery after he asked to use Felux's computer to complete a homework assignment.

During the past nine months, investigators have been obtaining warrants and combing through the computer's hard drive, the affidavit stated.

In addition to the original images, police said they found a folder containing video of a girl as young as 9-years-old, engaging in sex acts with a grown man, the affidavit stated.

Early on in the investigation, the affidavit stated, detectives interviewed Felux who admitted to downloading pornography related to an unusual fetish.

Felux is charged with possession of child pornography. Records show he was released from the Bexar County Jail Monday night after posting a $15,000 bond.
