Two men have been arrested in connection with a South Side shooting in April.
San Antonio police said both suspects, Roy Delarosa, 24, and Albert Torres Martinez, 39, were identified through information that witnesses provided.
They believe they were the men who shot Michael Mejorado, 24, in the 2000 block of Burton Avenue.
Officers at the April 22 shooting scene said Mejorado told them he was standing outside drinking with friends when a vehicle drove up.
Police said Mejorado told them he had words with a passenger in the vehicle before he was shot.
Mejorado was hit four times -- twice in the body and grazed twice in the head, police said. He survived the shooting and is still recovering.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated that witnesses provided police with a description and other information about the shooters.
Police said Mejorado also identified the suspects in a photo lineup.
Delarosa and Martinez were arrested Tuesday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
