Jason Solis fatally stabbed on Moss Plain

Anthony Lee Davis charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

A 20-year-old man was fatally stabbed in far west Bexar County on Sunday morning.

The family of the victim, Jason Solis, told KSAT 12 News he was stabbed to death by 26-year-old Anthony Lee Davis during a confrontation outside Davis' house in the 2900 block Moss Plain Drive.

Davis, though, has only been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said an investigation is ongoing and there were multiple crime scenes to sort out.

Karen Gutierrez, a neighbor of Davis', said Davis was in a pickup truck that crashed into a tree near his home.

"We see the truck like totally almost in half against this poor tree here," Gutierrez said. "And the kid jumped out, ran to his house which is like four, five doors down."

Gutierrez said Davis was on his way home trying to get away from Solis and his friends.
