2014 Angel Tree registration ends Friday Families can register at Salvation Army, 521 W. Elmira No description found
SAN ANTONIO – Friday will be the last day for local families to register for the Salvation Army's 2014 Angel Tree program.
The Salvation Army provides gifts each Christmas for thousands of eligible families with children.
Families who wish to receive gifts through the Angel Tree program can register from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and must bring the following items:
Photo identification (current driver's license or state/country issued ID)
Birth certificates for all children in the home
Proof of residency (current ID, rental agreement, or current household bill)
Proof of income including government assistance (TANF, Medicaid, food stamps) or current paycheck.
This year, the Salvation Army expects to deliver gifts to 6,000 children in the San Antonio area.
