Raymore, MO – A Missouri girl battling cancer was thrilled to hear a charity wanted to make her one wish come true -- to build her own playhouse in her yard. But the neighborhood homeowner's association stepped in and said it would not be allowed.
Ella Schultz, 6, and her family were granted the playhouse by the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Ella's mother, Jennifer Schultz, said she doesn't want to cause trouble in the neighborhood, but not granting her daughter's wish does not seem right.
KCTV5 News in Kansas City interviewed neighborhood residents who said they were troubled by the HOA's decision.
Brett Greble said he would be more upset if he didn't see Ella play in her backyard than the sight of a playhouse for her.
KCTV5 also interviewed Bayers who said the board wants to talk over the decision some more.
The Schultz family said they appreciate the support and they hope the members of the homeowners association will change their minds.
